| These are the gloves I entered in a 12th Night A&S competition; the glove body is fulled wool felt; the cuffs are embroidered dupioni silk (lined with a salmon- pink color); that same pink silk was used to make the wrist ruffles. |

| Here are the gloves with the white leather body, which is what the wealthy nobles would have worn with the fancy embroidered, gold-lace trimmed cuff: |
The wrist ruffs are edged with purchased metallic gold lace. The ruff fabric measured 3 x the circumference of the wrist. Unfortunately this wasn't full enough for the box-pleated-look that extant pieces have..Some day I will re-do the ruffs in a fuller version. . |
